Fall is here and I figured I would share with you a list of what I love about fall (since I've been told my usual topics are very serious I'll relax with this one). Here is a list of all the things I love about fall (in no particular order)
1. Fall Foliage: I
love the Fall Foliage! It's this thing Medina County does every year in
October. You get this map and on it are places you can visit that go in big
circle. Most of the places are farms you can walk around at, pick pumpkins/
apples, go on a hayride, and even go through a corn maze. I absolutely love it.
I love the scenery of it and the atmosphere is just so happy. It doesn't matter
the weather when this is going on I always have blast! This year they have a
honey winery on the route and I must say I am looking forward to that.
2. Pumpkin Flavor:
Call me what you like but I just love pumpkin. When Fall comes around I go
crazy because I know that it is the only time I really can get that flavor in
things. One of my favorite pumpkin things are pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, I
try to make a batch in October or November.
3. Taking
Pictures: Taking Fall scenic pictures are so relaxing to me. I love the colors
and the way nature looks it is so beautiful. To me fall means things are dyeing
or getting ready to hibernate and fall does it in such a graceful/classy
looking way. If you get the right lighting and you are by a waterfall with fall
color leaves a picture like that can look magical.
4. Bonfires: Now I
don't have/go too many of these, but nothing beats a cool night by the fire
eating s’mores with friends and just catching up. It is a different atmosphere
in the fall with Bonfires than in the summer. In fall everyone seems chilled
with just being under a blanket and talking. Sometimes there might be a game we
decide to play but mostly it is a relaxing environment.
5. Halloween: I
love Halloween mainly because it means I get to dress up. I like the spirit of
it and let’s face it candy is always a nice bonus with this holiday too. There
seems to always be a party that you can attend or even handing out candy is
fun. This year my goal is to dress up as Super Girl and hang out with
friends.
Well there you
have it folks, a list of things I like about fall. It may not be much but these
five things make me happy when the fall blues start to kick in. I would love to

ReplyDeleteI love fall as well. For all the reasons you stated, plus one more. The sound of leaves crunching while you walk. Plus when I was a kid I would love to jump into a pile of leaves. The only thing I hate about fall is that winter follows it. I hate the cold, the snow, and that everything is gray. But let's enjoy fall while it's here. Nice post, Cassie. See, you don't have to write about deep thoughts all the time!
Thanks Rich! This post was a new type for me, but I like my deep thoughts it's a way to get my opinion across without being interrupted. As for the jumping in the leaves and the crunch of it that is a nice touch to fall as well. I also don't like the winter that follows it either
